Ruben Simonsen, known as The Ruben, hails from Tromsø, Norway, the city of Northern Lights. With a unique sound shaped by the raw beauty of Northern Norway, The Ruben's music blends charismatic melodies, emotional depth, and a distinctive vocal range.
His journey started at the age of six, experimenting with music on his mother’s cassette player, and evolved into a passion that drives his artistry today.
A former collaborator with notable producers such as Julian Laping (Toneaffair), The Ruben balances solo projects with exciting collaborations. After stepping away from the music scene briefly, he reignited his career in December 2022 and has since been releasing new material.
