Sparkplugbritt is an independent singer-songwriter from Tampa, Florida, whose music blends confessional indie folk with folk-punk. Her songs feel like postcards from airports, tiny apartments, and relationships that lasted longer in her head than they did in real life.

Through countless performances throughout the Tampa Bay open mic scene, Sparkplugbritt has built a community around songs about unrequited love, bad timing, breakups, moving from place to place, and trying to figure life out. Equal parts funny, self-aware, and occasionally dramatic, she walks the line between friend and group therapist.

She has performed on the Cowboy Chords Stage at Lost Evenings Festival in both Toronto and Scotland and shared the stage with Vanessa Jean Speckman and Micah Schnabel at Kitty Castle Festival in New Bedford. Armed with little more than her guitar, her performances are woven with scattered stories and songs that are just as likely to make a room laugh or cry as they are to leave it completely silent.
